i updated my profile and look at the update..

why it showing happy-to-help has updated "their" profile?
i think it should be happy-to-help has updated his profile. what you you all think?

I think it is done to avoid a problem,in case of a male it will be 'his' profile and incase of female it will be 'her' profile

but by name only the software will be unable to find who is male and who is female because everyone does not mention his or her gender in the profile. so it will look unusual if something happens like this--> mysterygirl has updated his profile.

I guess to avoid this problem the word their is used here.

But if possible then it should be fixed to his and her instead of their. it will be like this

golden_soul_ has updated his/her profile instead of their profile.

if we refer the word "THEIR" =meaning its a case of ->they<- corresponding.In short "THEIR" refers to the one who writes something.I think not mistake I love you
